The 508cc inline twin-cylinder / 8-valve DOHC liquid-cooled engine delivers a maximum power of 33.5 kW at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 49.9 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The performance is powerful enough to make the Maxsym TL ideal for long-distance touring.
The engine is equipped with a balance shaft to significantly reduce vibrations, especially at high speeds.
The multi-disc automatic clutch in an oil bath offers better stability and durability, providing smooth power delivery to the rear wheel from the moment the engine starts.

The engine is mounted in a fully motorcycle-style configuration. The position centralizes mass and improves the center of gravity while distributing weight evenly between the axles (50/50). This feature ensures direct, intuitive, and thrilling handling.
